  • Cell Phones. Please remove your shoes and silence your cell phones when you enter the studio. Except for during Open Studio, cell phones are not permitted on the studio floor during practice.

  • Pictures & Posting. Yoga is a deeply personal experience, and many people come to the practice from trauma. For that reason, we do not allow photography, videography, recording, streaming or broadcasting of any sort in the Studio before or during practice. You are welcome to take photographs and videos and to post to social media after your practice is over (or at any time during Open Studio when pictures and posting are expressly allowed), but please focus on your experience in the studio only and take care not to take, broadcast or post images of any other student without his or her express consent.

  • Caution & Release. Yoga is an intense physical practice, and there is always a risk that you could be injured, mildly or severely, during a yoga practice. So we strongly recommend that you (a) check with your doctor to get his or her approval to participate in the yoga practices at GRAYCE before starting, (b) let us know before each practice if you have any injuries or limitations that could affect your ability to practice safely that day; and (c) stop practicing immediately if you feel ill or begin to experience any pain, dizziness or shortness of breath.

  • Hands-On Assisting.  In order to help students understand the alignment, muscular engagement or intention of a posture, teachers and assistants sometimes provide hands-on assists. As a student, you have a right to decline being assisted at any time before, during or after practice.

  • Cancellation Policy.  Students must cancel 2 hours or more prior to the practice they booked or the following charges will apply: (a) if the student paid for a single class, that class will be forfeited.
