The Protocols
created in the spirit of ahimsa
(non-harm to all living things)
-
Cell Phones. Please remove your shoes and silence your cell phones when you enter the studio. Except for during Open Studio, cell phones are not permitted on the studio floor during practice.
-
Covid-19 Policy. Please show your love and respect for one another by not coming to practice if you are ill and/or have any symptoms of Covid-19.

-
Pictures & Posting. Yoga is a deeply personal experience, and many people come to the practice from trauma. For that reason, we do not allow photography, videography, recording, streaming or broadcasting of any sort in the Studio before or during practice. You are welcome to take photographs and videos and to post to social media after your practice is over (or at any time during Open Studio when pictures and posting are expressly allowed), but please focus on your experience in the studio only and take care not to take, broadcast or post images of any other student without his or her express consent.
-
Caution & Release. Yoga is an intense physical practice, and there is always a risk that you could be injured, mildly or severely, during a yoga practice. So we strongly recommend that you (a) check with your doctor to get his or her approval to participate in the yoga practices at GRAYCE before starting, (b) let us know before each practice if you have any injuries or limitations that could affect your ability to practice safely that day; and (c) stop practicing immediately if you feel ill or begin to experience any pain, dizziness or shortness of breath. In addition, while GRAYCE strongly encourages all students and teachers who are medically able to get vaccinated against Covid-19 and asks that those who are ill and/or have any symptoms of Covid-19 stay home, Grayce cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed to Covid-19 or any other virus. By signing our Waiver, you are indicating (a) that you understand the risks associated with practicing yoga (including the risk of being exposed to COVID-19) and (b) that you agree to release GRAYCE, its owners, employees and independents contractors from any and all liability related to or arising from any injury or illness (including COVID-19 and complications therefrom) you may incur as a result of participating in the practices and/or classes at GRAYCE.
-
Hands-On Assisting. In order to help students understand the alignment, muscular engagement or intention of a posture, teachers and assistants sometimes provide hands-on assists. As a student, you have a right to decline being assisted at any time before, during or after practice.

-
Cancellation Policy. Students must cancel 2 hours or more prior to the practice they booked or the following charges will apply: (a) if the student paid for a single class, that class will be forfeited; (b) if the student used a 5 or 10 practice pass, one practice will be deducted from that pass, and (c) if the student used an unlimited membership, $10.00 will be charged to the student's payment method on file.
